Episode 2 - Ricci Rivero

“Dayories” follows Ricci Rivero’s journey to finding his destiny on the basketball court. From his comfortable life in Isabela, Ricci moves to Manila initially as a punishment for his mischievous behavior. He eventually pursues competitive ball like his older brother, with his father serving as his mentor and coach. Despite starting out late in the sport, Ricci sees his basketball career quickly blossomed in La Salle Greenhills, then in De La Salle University. The young cager’s biggest setback, however, is neither a flagrant foul nor an injury but leaving his Taft-based squad. After hanging up his Green Archers jersey and suffering from depression, Ricci finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel as he finds a fresh start and another family with the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons.
